Build your own when you want control over the exact snacks and quantities in your office order. Choose a curated box when you would rather give a few preferences and let someone else select the mix. Snack Culture offers both: Build your Box for individual product choices, and curated selections of 30, 60 or 120 snacks. Neither route requires a subscription.
What do you control when you build your own box?
You choose the listed products and quantities. This is useful when the team already has favourites, when you want a specific balance across categories, or when you are testing a few new flavours without committing to a full case.
In Build your Box, the +3, +6 and +9 buttons add individual units quickly. They are shortcuts, not minimum quantities. Change a line to one unit or another permitted quantity in the box summary or basket. Your selection is saved in the same basket used by the Shop.
For the practical sequence, our step-by-step office box guide covers choosing a starting mix and refining it after the first order.
What do you choose with a curated box?
Start with the number of snacks. Then tell us your sweet-versus-savoury preference, how adventurous the selection should be and any dietary notes. The selected size is highlighted before the page takes you to the preferences. Add to basket sits underneath those questions, so you can review the brief first.
Those preferences guide the selection; they are not a promise of particular brands or exact product counts within each category. Dietary notes are also not an allergen-free certification. For a strict requirement, speak to us before ordering rather than relying on a free-text note alone.
Which option suits the way your office buys?
| Your priority | Build your Box | Curated selection |
|---|---|---|
| Exact flavours | You select the products. | You provide preferences and we choose the mix. |
| Quantity flexibility | Adjust the units on each product line. | Choose 30, 60 or 120 snacks per box. |
| Trying a specific product | Add a small quantity of that listed snack. | Use an adventurous preference for a less prescribed mix. |
| Less selection work | You spend time making the product choices. | You choose a size and complete the preferences. |
| Repeating favourites | A saved account order can help rebuild the basket at current prices. | You can order another size and preference brief. |
What do the curated sizes cost?
The current curated options are 30 snacks for £42, 60 for £78 and 120 for £145. These numbers describe snacks, not people or days. A box for a single meeting serves a different purpose from a box intended to cover several office days.
Standard delivery is £5.95 below £60 merchandise subtotal and free from £60. The same delivery rule applies to a self-selected order. Check the basket for the actual payable amount and any code applied.
How do you avoid ordering the wrong amount?
Choose a period first, then estimate who will be present and how the snacks will be offered. A hybrid team may need more choice on two busy days rather than an equal allocation each weekday. Treat the first order as information about your office, not a permanent forecast.
Read ordering for hybrid workplaces and what to put in an office snack box before deciding. Keep the flavours people enjoy, reduce what repeatedly remains, and leave a little space for discovery. Taste comes first.
Can you combine both approaches?
Yes. You can put a curated selection and individually chosen snacks in the same basket. This can suit an office that wants a dependable set of favourites alongside a mix it has not chosen item by item. Keep the purpose of each clear when reviewing the order.
Snack Culture is a supplier and curator of branded third-party snacks, not the manufacturer of the products it stocks. Explore office snack box options, then choose how much of the selecting you would like to do.
